Heinz moved to China I quit buying it and come back I still ain't f****** buying it you leave Canada don't come back f*** you I won't buy
Uh the article says they are just moving their Canadian bottling operations to Quebec
This is a tricky one because it's still going to be mashed, distilled and aged at its Canadian facilities.
On balance it will be the jobs that have the greatest impact Not the space for vats and casks with a few security guards 🤷♀️ Do we know the proportion of jobs we’re losing?
It’s more than a few security guards. They use a lot of corn, rye, and wheat from the local farmers. 10000 bushels per day. It’s Gimli’s largest employer.
Ah. It’s a challenge when it comes to our industry’s integration with the US and the broader issue of global supply chains ☹️ Thanks for the post 🙏💕
Let’s move to Gimli and start a Whiskey Company. Rown Croyal!😹😹😹😹😹😹😹❤️🇨🇦
200 jobs but what proportion of workforce ? And is this just the first step until they find a US facility to move the mash/distillation to?
I do not know & am having a hard time trying to research it.
Manitoba Double pitched in. The mash alone is a big employment driver for Gimli
