I always tell my kids that you don’t have to hike or travel to fancy, remote places to enjoy nature; you just have to care enough to notice the beauty all around you. The proof was in the pudding in our neighborhood today! We saw gray tree frogs, pheasants back, and something I’ve never seen!

Exactly my view. So many photos of extraordinary places in exotic places. When many of us just have to walk out of the house.

On our walk, we heard a buzzing commotion in the grass. When we went to investigate, we watched a European hornet brutally kill and devour what I think was a cicada! The hornet repeatedly stabbed the cicada with its stinger then literally started eating the cicada’s face! Nature is so metal!
