Not unreasonable to be worried, especially those who might be directly affected. This thread is full of people condemning the plans without having seen them.

They're assuming the worst because Labour has consistently -been- the worst over the last year, esp. when it comes to marginalised people and disability. Labour's also ignored public dissent in almost all policy areas. Sending a message that we don't trust this govt right from the start has value.
