Interesting fact about NYC: The suicide rate is much lower per 100,000 people. About 6 % where other areas are about 14%.Also, 9%of suicides are guns in NYC vs a 55% national average. Coincidence?

All of that works and we need that and more but just the shear number of firearms in private hands means that the only way of drastically reducing the violence is by changing the hearts of the population. It’ll take a generation or more.
