My deepest condolences for the loss of your daughter. I know so many people whose lives have been improved by antidepressants of all sorts. I myself have been on them for decades and I don't even like being mean to pixel people in video games. These folks need a lesson in correlation vs causation.

I do believe that the way they are dispensed should be taken more seriously (for ex., being more careful with early monitoring to make sure a dopamine imbalance isn't being treated with serotonin medications) but that is about improving treatments, not manufacturing reasons to get rid of them.
