Thinking this morning about one of my Vajrayana teachers. He was very popular in the 90's and early 2000s in the U.S. But, nowadays, I don't think a humble, slow-speaking, Tibetan man who taught traditional Dharma would be anywhere near as popular.
Thinking this morning about one of my Vajrayana teachers. He was very popular in the 90's and early 2000s in the U.S. But, nowadays, I don't think a humble, slow-speaking, Tibetan man who taught traditional Dharma would be anywhere near as popular.
Since I see him purely, I think of this as a Buddha emanating as a teacher for a certain group of people at a particular time and place.
It motivates me to keep practicing to not waste what I was given.
