that is the thing ppl need to wrap their heads around. i still hear people go "well just wait until you need them" oh? when is that? Im in my 40s dog, i never "need" them, and what are they gonna do when they show up? file a report? or kill somebody? or stand around while people bleed out?
if youre extremely lucky you'll get an individual small town cop with a sense of responsibility to help with something simple, and thats it. the best you can possibly do. they dont prevent crimes and their responses are often more harmful than any crime that was committed.
I read something once that said they don't hire beyond a certain IQ level because then it's easier to indoctrinate nastiness into them.
They fought for their right in court to discriminate against people for scoring to well on aptitude tests. I don’t know if it was IQ specifically.
