bc fairness doctrine was about presenting opposing viewpoints, e.g. if you invited an RFK Jr. onto a news broadcast you'd also have to invite an actual medical expert on to counter his claims

The Fairness Doctrine never required the diverse viewpoints be aired during the same program or even on the same day.

Yeh. I get that. Just think in this instance the whole point was to hoist the dude by his own petard. A lot of people are adept at shutting down when an 'expert' debunks their little Generals. A lot harder when they discredit themselves. I see it as another weapon in debunking these imbeciles.
