Jets flying loud and low today in prep for the Milwaukee Air & Water Show this weekend, an event that apparently exists so that Americans can experience a light, significantly less consequential version of what the people we bomb overseas experience in our endless imperialistic orgy of destruction.
Which reminds me: did you know the first aerial bombardments on US soil were Americans bombing Americans? I get really interested in that factoid every year this event takes place.
It's also ok hate it cause it's just TOO LOUD. People with PTSD or on the spectrum + pets certainly don't like it, and their distress is more valid to me than any drone pilot could ever be.
But our bloated military industrial complex will flex a bit over Lake Michigan this weekend and there's nothing I can do but ask why
