I’d go a step farther and say fingers crossed we have legit elections in 2026. The regime won’t outright shut them down yet, but when Dems poll well in competitive spots, you’re going to see all sorts of fuckery. Investigations, false charges, threats of deportation, etc. Like in NYC right now.

Yes. I think we are going to see more than protests if they try something blatant.

Agreed. They’re not confident enough yet in how much of a grip they have. It’ll have to look normal enough up front to the average person not paying attention.
