Because they aren't pro-life, just pro-pregnancy. They don't actually care about the lives of the mother or the baby.

Important discussion - not enough attention is paid to huge emotional toll on the Mom and Dad, family, and friends by this unfathomable loss. Autopsy is recommended to learn cause - & then it is pointed out that the autopsy is meaningless unless there are skilled neonatal pathologists to interpret

Universal healthcare is the answer? UHC isn't only coverage of specific situations; it's also a healthcare ethos & attitude. UHC can be organized in numerous ways; it needn't be confused with "Status Services" & invite abuse.The NHS has probably not got the best medical outcomes. Examples abound.

Wonder how many are in Red States with poor health care. Or poor rural areas with little access to good health care.
Because our government does not want to pay the costs for good pre-natal care.

I was pregnant at the same time as my neighbor. First for both of us. She had a totally normal pregnancy, while I did not. She was full term, but hadn't felt the baby kick in 24 hours. Went to the hospital and delivered a dead baby. I went in shortly after and
delivered a healthy baby. I do wonder if they moved soon after because they didn't need the constant reminder - their nursery, seeing me outside with mine. I don't blame them.
I like a state by state breakdown but how hard is the data to obtain from those shady states like mine(Florida)?
Some states have criminalizes miscarriages, because both intentional abortion and miscarriages appear the same. Does that mean these could be called late term abortions and result in the parents being charged with murder?
