This atrocity should never have happened, but I’m so glad those poor men are out of that hellhole. Would be great if the international spotlight got CECOT to reform and stop abusing any prisoners. Our constitution got it right in outlawing cruel and unusual punishment for anyone.

Every one of them who is 1. here legally, 2. not a criminal, and 3. not a gang member, should sue Trump and Miller PERSONALLY for violations of their civil rights and - best of all - DEFAMATION OF CHARACTER. They will have to explain this for the rest of their lives EVERY TIME they apply for a job!

Look into the millions Trump paid to have them held, too, please. Given that many (all?) of the original prisoners were used in a panicked exchange, is that money now going to be used to hold others at Cecot?
I assumed that they were deported due to non-payment. Trump doesn't pay his bills. However, I read that this prisoner exchange has been negotiated since last spring, so now I am not sure.

288 were on various flight logs, some sent to CECOT even after SCOTUS required due process. 252 (plus KAG) were apparently released. Would like to see the list of those returned and have it checked. AND would like to know the names and background of 35 still in captivity. Salvadorans?
