FYI #FollowTheMoney en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Las_Veg.... Public money was used to build the tunnels and stations, and the system does not generate revenue from riders. In fact, the LVCVA is reported to be paying The Boring Company an additional $4.5 million annually for operational expenses.

Have they thought about possible side effects of undermining Houston w/tunnels drilled in the porous limestone substrate? Will it matter if it is filled with water from the Gulf of Mexico penetrating it? What will happen as the water level of the Gulf rises? Is this a 1/2 ass idea or well studied?
