See a woman OB-GYN
Reason I switched to only female OB/GYNs. Had many men OBs say the most inappropriate things with their hands up my vajayjay. It’s still happening. If you’re made uncomfortable, report these aholes
Yes. And I can't even say on a public platform. 😡
Same. My doctor is female and the surgeon that performed my colon surgery is a woman. I have found the care I have received is much better.
My very first pelvic exam when I was 18, the doctor said, “This will be a lot easier for both of us if you relax.” Fucker. Still mad about that. (Have only seen women gynos since.)
Sadly you need to know this at a very young age as well. Trust me.
Yeah, and the problem's not just with OB-GYNs either. I feel like theres soooo much sexual assault we don't hear about that medical "professionals" get away with.
There is, sadly.

Too late.....I stopped going in 2008. You will never get me back...that was the 3rd and last OB I will ever trust
This needs more info, in particular: 1. If your pelvic exam hurts, tell the dr. It could be something the dr is doing OR there could be a problem. Telling them that it hurts could be important. 2. If inserting the speculum for the PAP smear hurts, tell the dr. They should be able to adjust it.
I'm not a dr, just a pt who has been there. The point here is that pain is information and not necessarily an indication that the dr has violated the pt.
If the point of this article is that people might not know what is normal, this is essential info.
Answer: Only go to a woman OBGYN.
Unfortunately, there are perverts in every profession. Empower yourself with knowledge and act if something feels off!

I’ve never gone to a male provider and never will.
In the 80s Nurses should have stayed. My first gyn delivered me. He passed away. He had two young partners. I saw one 2x. When I saw the other, I knew what he did was wrong. I was shocked & speechless.😶 I told the first doctor what happened on my next visit. ‘ You’re not the 1st. He’s a jerk.’ WTH
Thank you
