My last day at work is today, before my last pto break. I'm sad, because I'll miss the coworkers who kept me laughing and on track. But I'm also sad to open a new chapter of life without mom.

I am so sorry to read of your loss of your mother. Please accept my condolences. Sadly such monumental losses occur at times of other major changes in our lives, and they become intermingled and magnified. Mo own mother passed on Sept. 1 st forty-two years ago.

Labor Day is now always associated in my mind with her loss, making the approaching holiday always a bittersweet holiday. Please take care of yourself and find comfort in your memories of your beloved Mom.
