Why do we need to constantly discuss what and how and why women use their bodies? The reason why someone is a surrogate or why someone or how someone has a baby is no one’s business.

Because disparities in wealth, class and power are real. If a vulnerable woman is terrified of selling her body in this way but feels compelled to do so, that should concern us all.

Nope, there a million things that affect impoverished women before surrogacy. Spousal abuse, homicide, lack of medical care… this is just a gateway article to get people talking about pregnant women and ways to shame them under the guise of “protecting them”
