As a nation it's pathetic that many seem more whipped up to be annoyed about what a kid wears/doesn't wear to school than the fact more than 1 in 3 children in the UK live in poverty! Shows how easily manipulated some are by tax avoiding, billionaire owned propaganda comics!

For the girl, now possibly radicalized by the whole pantomime, it's inexcusable that her parent has manipulated her in this way. As an ex-teacher often involved in this type of event, I would say that a life story and maybe some object/artifact shared with the class, would have been a better idea.
