I am not for either Right Wing Corporate Party so it is pretty hard for me to "cutting off your nose to spite your face". That is the whole purpose of the Corporate Duopoly, if the Ds' could actually make the correct arguments they would, but their Donors would not allow that.

I get all that. But it's not the fight we have, or one we could win. It's kind of a waste, unless you have a way to live in a different time and place. That's also why I transposed the adage to face/nose. I'd rather live in your world, but we can't.

Maybe. I don't feel that way, but it may seem so. For years I pounded the green party's drum. At best it's trying to participate from the outside, at worst, you scuttle the lesser "evil." So, you either participate against your better knowledge, or you bark at the moon inside glass house!
