Trump has increased the tariff to $75 per item. The reason the de minimis loophole was created was bc it cost more for our govt. to collect the taxes than they were making by collecting the taxes. This is going to hurt small businesses that depend on this loophole & well as hurt the economy.

Their orders and many other companies' orders are either pitiful examples of the attractive fashionable items they advertise OR never arrive at all but still they get our money. Sizes have no correlation to advertised measurements. Linen fabrics are bogus replaced with cheap polyester fabrics.

The U.S. imports about $200 billion in food each year. Among the top food items the U.S. imports from China, which has a much higher tariff rate, are tea, spices, fish and shellfish, and processed and fresh fruits.

Americans voted for a President who promised tariffs that had to lead to more expensive food, clothing and housing, just to fund tax breaks for himself & his clique. He delivered and now everyone's upset.
