What’s really cool about this pic is that it’s from a photo shoot for one of Timely’s (the precursor to Marvel Comics) crime magazines. Jack posed as a gangster for that cover.

Kirby also appeared as a gangster on the cover of Headline Comics #35. The cop is Joe Simon. They both appear in a police lineup on the cover of Justice Traps The Guilty #56 (l-r Ben Oda, Joe Simon, Joe Genalo, Mort Meskin, and Jack Kirby).
