Yeah. I remember him spending time, online, to talk someone out of smoking (who had recently started). Wasn’t admonishing, but rather talking about those he lost to lung cancer and how this person has people who care about them. Also, he’s feuding Cleese&Terry over Terry’s daughter’s mismanagement.

I haven’t bothered watching his interviews in the UK, promoting his current tour. Stopped following him at the other place as I got bored with his complaining. (Mainly, I remember, on money.)

Eric Idle disagreed with Maher and Cleese when they said "woke" is killing comedy, and in a 2022 interview he said "I hate them intensely, I’ve always hated conservatives, I’m afraid to say I’m very prejudiced against them, they’re horrible people."
