I mean I don’t wanna imply that I agree with the guy cause I fucking don’t, but this isn’t a new thing nor does it really question the integrity of the chronicle

Call a group “Concerned Citizens For The Environment” and get funding from the Koch Brothers, not disclose it, and then publish on op-ex about how throwing your old and used appliances in the nearest body of water is good, actually, but that doesn’t make it so.
I’m familiar with the concept, yes. My point is that if someone’s opinion is published in the paper and their credentials are that he is a physician and veteran and also that he represents a lobbying group, then understanding how that group is funded and by whom is important context for the reader.
Well, it reduces brain lung and breast tumors so there’s that…🙄
