And what they can do is find alternate sources for the goods and services amongst themselves, just cut the U.S. out altogether. China did that 1st time around. Feds had to subsidise the soybean farmers cuz China found other sources.

This, there are plenty of alternate sources. But the idea was between the EU and the US that we kept both our markets strong by buying most of things from each other. That was the deal. Now the US drives us in the arms of others who are jumping at the chance to make deals with us.
