Digging into Transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation (TENS) machines. They're pretty cheap and they help with pain I just need to know what the current best path is for hardware.

As someone in constant neuropathic pain, I am also very interested in this.

I didn't know you could just buy one, have heard quite a bit about them for muscle spasticity

not a lot of strong evidence for this i'm afraid. i know personally i'll pretty much try anything that can help with my chronic pain if i can afford it and its not dangerous though, so go with god.

when i was doing physiotherapy i was using this regularly and i still don't believe it did anything other than getting my hands wet from the pads and itchy from the electricity. i firmly believe they just did it to keep me busy watching youtube while they were taking care of the other patients

Years ago I got ones like pictured. Got a TENS (pain/nerve, that 7000) and a EMS (rehab/muscle, 7500). My justification was most medical studies seem to have settings for those type of 'basic' units. PT is always king but they can help sometimes. I think there's devices that combine the two too.
