While not exactly thought of as a hero to people concerned about public health, and though being the first CDC head in 70 years without a medical degree, Monarez did have a scientific research background… which is more than enough to make her a threat to a privileged buffoon like RFK Jr.
It has been reported that Monarez was trying to reach out to lawmakers and warn them that further vaccine restrictions are in the works. RFKjr caught wind of this. And now it is reported four other senior CDC officials have submitted letters of resignation saying they can’t abide the anti-science.
Additionally, Monarez has now issued a statement saying she did not resign, and has received no official notification of the cause for her being fired. She has retained counsel (Anne Lowell, who also represents Lisa Cook & Tish James).
