Mostly agree aside from that last sentence. The birthing kids question is something we decide only for ourselves. Birthing babies into this hell isn't something I could do either but some people are inevitably gonna have kids and we have to help make the world less shitty for those kids
Making the life less shitty for children born into this world against their will is the bare minimum, yes. Procreating a new human is basically imposing a varying degree of guaranteed suffering on them, and a guaranteed death (that often is painful, especially in countries euthanasia isn't legal).
But nothing is going to make life less shitty for any child but a rich child any time soon. I agree with you about kids. Love 'em to death, but anyone in the US having a kid in 2025 is getting massive side eye. Like, good luck to you and all but damn what a terrible decision.
