I just got home last night from a wonderful 8 days in Toronto. Most of the stores we visited had signs for Canada items only. It was my pleasure to shop those stores. Michigander supporting you 100%.

Trump's tariffs are raising the costs too high for hungry people in the US to afford their products, I guess. With the FDA and USDA being gutted, I'd trust canned food before I'd trust fresh food in the US right now.

In 🇦🇺 USA food, drinks, meat, dairy are banned as unfit for human consumption, it's poisonous, causes cancers, hormonal & brain issues etc. USA 110 volt white goods, electronics, NTSC region 1, right-hand drive vehicles etc don't work. American Sized ugly fashion clothes, don't sell here either.😏

Well, it's only the American subsidiary that is going bankrupt. Dell Monte Canada is part of the France-based Bonduelle Group, not part of the American subsidiary anymore. It might not have much of an effect on global operations unless the Singapore parent company is also in financial trouble.

There is some nuance here. "Changing tastes" are a large part of what brought this one down. The people who currently eat fruit want real fruit, and the people who just want to eat sugar have a million ways to get it. The market for "canned fruit cocktail" is just gone.
