I felt this in every single one of my bones. When I drive past the places that keep them I can’t shake the feeling that I hear them & it destroys me. Laughing so I don’t cry & scream

we are moving in the right direction (i.e. no more breeding at seaworld for orcas at least, dolphins & belugas are still bred in captivity) but the whales there now still have family free in the ocean 😢 you not going does help!!

What would we do with them? All but 1 or 2 of the orcas were born there.

Would they be able to tolerate the germs and stuff in the water and fish? Everything they get is hyper sanitized and washed. In the ocean, everything is raw. They need to build up immunity first.

There is only one successful rehabbing of a orca I know. Her name was springer, and she was released after mere months in a sea pen. As for captive orcas, 0% success rate so far.

i would much rather see effort put into this than their continued exploitation
