As soon as you edit live YouTube video in any way it wipes the chat. I suppose you could screen record chat and do a overlay of it in edit but other than that it's just reroute of music audio away from YT feed as has already been suggested.

Yeah I was kind of thinking that "on screen" may be the safest bet. Thank you guys for your knowledge!
