Well fellow Jeff, I hope you take the time to see if anything in Canada could interest you in here, we’re starting to lean crazy ass right tho…

I considered Canada, but housing is a total bitch...I might take a look at Vancouver primarily because idk if I'm going to be able to pass my German B2 test in time for my planned exit. Ontario seems like a no-go.
Vancouver is too expensive, but BC is where I’d like to be, I don’t know what you do for work, but if you’re an outdoorsman, skiing, hiking, biking, Golden BC is heaven… so many ways to die happy… and cheaper
I'm in healthcare, a lot of European countries offer preferred immigration for us. Sounds like my top-2 wants for Canada are probably no-go's then.
What are your top 2? We’re dying for healthcare workers, I’ll convince you yet, I was the dude they sent to the airport to pick up new workers and talk about the awesome stuff, small towns are hard for city folks, what are the 2 wants? Lol
My top-2 would be Ontario and Vancouver, probably the top-2 or 3 of options. Lol I've done travel work here in the US, it was nice. It would be temporary though, just long enough for me to pass the test I need to work in Germany. I do like that this option gives me the extra time I may need.
What’s your lifestyle? City mouse or country mouse, I’m half Norwegian so I picture every European as a skiing/hiking, you can get a house where I am for 1/6 or 1/8 the BC cost and work elsewhere in a bigger place, I’m more live cheap go work for bigger money elsewhere… I’ll sell you yet…
Honestly I prefer more smaller/mid-sized area's - just not tiny. Availability of great IPA's is a selling point (I'm well aware that these are difficult to find in Germany). I'm more than half Norwegian too. 😅
lol well sir, I guarantee you if you look, you can find a home in BC, and your profession is desperately needed and you’ll find we’ll be more than happy to have you here, and tell your friends, were wanting to take refugees for expertise, not chastise for being educated and have experience…
Now on the east were more water ppl, with rugged environments and a fraction of the cost in BC, and our brewery situation is outta hand, we’re the most alcohol consuming province, known for our hospitality and friendly help anyone attitude, research both, at least consider us for contention…
I'll try to take a look after I'm off work. I don't really know anything about how a Canadian work Visa would work since I never got past the looking stage. Do you know any info about that aside from what's available on the Google machine?
Golden BC had healthcare workers from the opposite end of the country, I went once and all the nurses and doctors were surprised to see someone because the town is young with an extremely healthy active population…
In winter, it is flooded with European tourists who go to the ski hill for its technical courses and back country skiing, I’m pretty good, I almost died lol… and way cheaper than Vancouver, close to Banff and whistler, Calgary in Alberta…
We’re so hard up for healthcare we have travel positions, have your big city home, go to a community in need in some of the most beautiful places, take advantage of their hospitality and recreation, back to the city for the advantages they have… east coast is beautiful, that’s where I live now..
Shitty thing we don’t have the massive mountains, I miss the mountains so much, now I’m depressed lol
If you love the outdoors, Interior or Cariboo is the best.
