There have been multiple stories published over the Summer. But it seems that the BBC and ITV and many others only want to focus on immigration. Violence against Women and Girls, planning reforms, crime etc. All have been pushed by Government.

Nandy could start doing something about the BBC hierarchy tomorrow, instead of telling us all she's not watching MasterChef, but she has zero interest in or understanding of her brief and that is a huge weakness for the government.

And every morning when a Government Minister goes on to discuss other issues, they are always just asked about small boats. It feels like the media will determine what issue will be the one to talk about, which demonstrates the imbalanced influence that they have.
