But they were good words, I picked them carefully
Burton Cummings summed it up when he was runnin' back to Saskatoon I've been hangin' around libraries I've been learnin' 'bout books I've been talkin' to play writers I've been workin' on words, phrases
Written language of good will, deep thought, reflection & wisdom, may easily bypass the closed minds of fools, but for those slowly retreating into the darkness of despair, they can rekindle one’s resolve. For action against tyranny is not a spontaneous eventuality, it is built one word at a time.
You have the best words, powerful words, like nobody has seen before and many people are strongly saying that with tears in their eyes!
Not a waste of words. When people STOP writing for integrity, truth and character we have a problem.
Sorry, Tom. I don’t know how you don’t just turn off replies.
They were good words and you did well, but might I suggest you save them for someone who deserves your hope?
Um, I like to think that Tom believes some of his readers deserve his hope. As Granny Weatherwax once said to a foe who underestimated the power of her words, "perhaps you weren't aware of what I was aiming at."
Tom should've used fresh, whole words, not powdered words.
And definitely no dried words.
I see what you did there, and I love it!
The good words are always worth stating. Thank you.
The good thing about words is that they’re reusable
The best words
I did learn what mishegoss means, so not a total waste.
Some might say you surrounded yourself with only the best words.
I liked those words. Sure, Hegseth won't resign. He doesn't understand the meaning of patriotism or duty. That doesn't mean you're wrong though.
And punctuation Tom, excellent use of punctuation. Well done.
better words than I've got, which is why I read yours there seems to be a life or death perception that prevents Hegseth from acknowledging incompetence and moving on to something he does better, the old chestnut that insanity is doing the same thing over and over, expecting a different result
I have over forty years experience with cults and I believe that it is impossible to tell who will suddenly break free and turn against the cult. MAGA is ultimately just another cult and we will see unlikely people suddenly losing faith, just as we did in the first Trump administration.
