Sweet Lily is quite the gal, indeed! Showing her belly ~ is a sign of trust. Dogs do the same ~ being submissive to you and/or to the pack. And, dogs love belly rubs. However, majority of cats do not ~ evidently, it's a violation of their trust. So they say? 🤷‍♀️

My cat actually enjoys belly rubs. But within certain limits of course. She'll let me know with a gentle bite when enough is enough.
