Garlic powder has more flavor than those expensive little jars of "fresh" minced.

I would use garlic powder before ever again wasting $ on jarlic. That stuff is absolutely disgusting. Using a few cloves of garlic is no harder than opening the jar of garlic powder. And Jarlic develops salmonella.

My Lebanese grandparents used garlic powder because they came here in 1957 and you couldn’t get fresh garlic in eastern Ohio at that time, so they adapted. We use fresh now because it’s readily available but I have a giant bottle of garlic powder in my kitchen just in case.
