He chews on his hat because he's a performative dunce. Having anxiety or any other issue is no excuse for his behavior.

I never said it was an excuse, and explicitly said I am not defending him. Don't swear on this account but yeah, he's a piece of crap. I suppose I don't know how to separate what's performance and what's real, but that's absolutely a defensible stance.
