As @mcuban.bsky.social noted the other day, one of the biggest arguments AGAINST M4All is that if we had it right now RFK Jr would be in charge of 100% of the healthcare system instead of only 50% of it. Still lots of arguments for it, but that’s a definite concern.

Well, thats an argument against anything the government does. The military, police, and department of education are all under the control of an insane tyrant.

I’ve long heard similar concerns re: access to gender-affirming care, as in the UK with almost every party becoming (or already being) violently transphobic. (Of course, access is becoming harder here even with our current system, but it’s still a different administrative level.)
