A friend made me watch all of them in a week (as I've never seen any except half of 6 on said friends laptop in a hotel room) so we could all see 8 together when it came out and it was A LOT. 2 stuck with me the most. In exchange he finally watched RRR for me so apparently... M:I series = RRR GL 🙏
Before today, I’d only seen the first one (when it was new). Pretty sure my dad has the VHS tape somewhere lol So far it’s, uh, it’s a ride! And yeah, 2 doesn’t deserve even half the hate it gets. It’s John Woo! Super cheesy, but still fun to watch
That's what I'm saying! The middle is probably the part that could be changed as the pacing is weird and the shots are just so odd at times but the action scenes are GLORIOUS! THE DOVES!!!!!!!
Exactly! And like, goddamn, it’s straight up the direct predecessor to Max Payne, which came out a year later. The slow motion cover dives while firing one or more pistols are 1:1 what Max Payne did
Cheesy action is just so much more fun too, like isn't that why we love DMC? One day there will be an M:I II reckoning and I'm so ready for it 😤🫡
