hotels are not great solutions but are perhaps the best available. We no longer have current or former army/navy/airforce facilities empty and ready to house asylum seekers! We don’t have loads of empty houses that can be repurposed.
I wish they would stop using the word Hotel. The thick see -5 star full board! They are hostels, failing hotels stripped to bare basics. Life here with nothing to do, no jobs, no money for a month would be horrendous, for more than a year vile and inhumane Once assessed it’s often worse

Great set of responses 👍 Pity you have lost faith with Labour. They are the ones in the actual driving seat so it is not easy, as Government's across Europe have found. It's easy to see people like Zack Polanski giving you hope but there is little new there in reality as real solutions 🤔
