Getting a COVID-19 vaccine does not make you more susceptible to the virus or other diseases. The COVID-19 vaccines cannot give you the virus because they do not contain live SARS-CoV-2. It will not prevent you from getting COVID, just make it less severe should you contract it.

My bad. It just didn't prevent you from getting it. Blah blah mutations and chasing old strains. But take some more if it makes you happy! You can wear a mask too. It's your choice and it's still available.

The mutations is why I wanted to take it. :) plus, being immunocompromised, I gotta take steps to keep myself as safe as possible.

I used to get flu shots and always ended up with the flu. I stopped about 12 years ago and flu free for 12 years. everyone is different .
