Poorly written. I almost skipped reading the rest of the article.
The first thing I noticed about that article is the use of “as likely” in a summary like this— that was terrible phrasing! Because of language patterns one instantly thinks “twice as likely” because that is a phrase that’s used frequently. How about “twice as likely to SURVIVE”? 🧐
