In his first administration, Trump‘s secretary of education, Betsy DeVos had a massive security detail. That’s the SECRETARY OF EDUCATION who is only visiting schools, so we should not be surprised to see Trump’s minions with massive amounts of security.
Did you see the video of his arrest? He did nothing threatening that would set off a normal bodyguard.

A thing I was thinking was, if I were someone like Trump or Musk, I could never looking forward to walking freely down the street without security again ever. Like, they have pretty much ruled out that option for themselves.

They opened the door & let Senator Padilla in w/o asking for an ID and w/o knowing who he was???
Just saw an interview with Sen. Padilla. He was in a secured Federal bldg., had gone through security screening and was escorted at all times by a member of the “federalized” National Guard. NG opened the door for him to enter the room. He was as also wearing a US Senate polo shirt.
