The only thing that gives me Kremlinology pause is these are the people that turned what was apparently a colonoscopy into days of fevered speculation. Who couldn’t admit cofeve was a typo and tried to pretend it was a mysterious secret message.

Right - if it’s nothing they might still make it something for lolz. He is still enjoying a lot of the regularity of American constitutionalism - does not have the fear of a coup that comes with many authoritarian systems (yet).

The only thing that can compete with Trump's actual craziness is the willingness of certain elements on the left to take the bait and go all in over made up craziness. Nobody runs cover for Trump like those guys.

My take is that parading him out for a distant photo op may be worse than no photo op at all. If you ALWAYS do something and you stop doing it, it always raises more questions. `Joe never has a second cup at home.`
