What they are reporting is abuse in the name of ABA therapy. Real ABA therapy does not include these abusive practices such as withholding basic needs until a child produces results.

"Real ABA" originally used electric shocks to force compliance, and the technique was eventually adapted to become conversion therapy. The practice you're talking about is the aberration. The real thing IS abusive. www.researchgate.net/publication/...
