It wont. The last and only political book that made me happy was "All the Presidents Men" so long ago

Another one I happened to read a few years ago when I was trying to understand how we got here snd really liked (an easier read, not as deep a dive) is "Evil Geniuses" by Kurt Andersen. Read that first then Dark Money.

Thanks I'll check it out. Funny thing is, until Trump, the only political books I read were about Nixon and his minions. Prefer history and occasionally novels. Since 2017 read so many political books, it became depressing. Read first 3 Harry Potters for some necessary escapism.
