I recently told 2 strangers on the street who might have been a couple that they were "a total vibe" and it was both an important personal step in reconnecting with the world and also technically my first cat call

Usually my cat calls are more, "Here Kitty, Kitty!" or "Psst Psst Psst" while getting their food
My partner told me (because of an almost certainly bullshit short form video) that "psst psst psst" is like insulting a cat. I have become weirdly paranoid about doing it and support a tiktok ban.
My first cat call was seeing my wife walking the dog so I slowed down and yelled, "I AM CAT CALLING YOU." And, as rude as that was, I stand by it.
Killing two birds with one cat call.
I hope you gave those nice vibe filled people a fun "was he hitting on us?" conversation to have for the next fifteen minutes or so.
Really just angling to be an amusing anecdote
Sometimes I’ll see a stranger in a set I know my wife would like and there’s just really no way to ask where to buy it that doesn’t sound instantly creepy
