The top hand-picked brass may be all in, but I think the rank and file are split. America has never dealt with a threat like this from the inside. No one wants to be the martyr to ignite the flames that need to be ignited.

How do you see this ending? Do average everyday citizens have the expertise and firepower to defeat the US military? If so, why haven’t they already struck before this gets worse?

Unfortunately, I don't see it ending without violence. As to why people haven't gotten violent yet? I assume it's because 60-70% of the nation's population is more worried about making sure their fridge is full for the next week over having the personal resources to wage a real resistance. No funds.

EXACTLY what I’ve been saying from day one when I read this BS about protesting. The vast majority of the population CANNOT AFFORD to miss work or worse, get fired. This isn’t the 60s. I am realistic enough to grasp that this is going to go on another 40-50 years unless another country intervenes.
