My Neighbor Totoro is amazing so far! I have to say, it is better than any Disney musical: the changes actually add more depth to the characters and their situation, unlike what I heard about Hercules changing the story for no reason (and cutting Pegasus).

The cuts I noticed were minor moments, like the scene where they eat ohagi, the bath scene was altered to be outside instead of in a bath (for obvious reasons), and Mei’s time in the classroom was short and immediately cut to the storm.
