🚨 Not legal 👇 “Forced hospitalization?” It’s a Fascist ploy to try to put citizens in concentration camps.
the next thing is those "hospitals" will become forced work camps. look up "poor houses". they went out of business shortly after Social security became a thing.
What hospitals? Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas etc. are closing scores of hospitals because of Medicaid cuts. He will jail them in more Alligator Aushwitz camps. This is Nazism.
Yes.. my mom is a psych nurse. They're bracing themselves bc a lot of their patients are homeless and/or dependent on Medicaid. Such hospitals are about to collapse.
Anyone can be declared “unstable” by this evil regime!! We must fight them!! 👎👿👿👿🤬🤬
EOs are suggestions not laws when & where is this being challenged?
End this oligarchy takeover of the US government. Register for elections ASAP. Let's show our strength. Vote is power.
Voting will not work. You are not living in a democracy any more. They may have stolen the 2024 election... and you certainly will not get meaningful elections in 2026 or 2028. Gerrymandering and disenfranchisement is happening now.
What gets me pissed is there were an estimated 90 M eligible voters who chose not to vote. Out of that 90 M voters an estimated 19 to 20 M were registered voters. The bastard only won by 2.3 M votes. Americans need to register ASAP & show up to vote. 90 million! SMH
It's a distraction.
First the immigrants, now the homeless. Who is next on the list for internment?
Follow what Nazi Germany did, you'll see. This is why I'm trying to leave the country before my number comes up en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Life_un...
Special education kids, disabled, senior citizens, democrats, independents, and the list goes on and on.
What hospitals?
An executive order is not a law.
Yep. All they have to do is refuse.
Play on the late Dennis Green accessment on losing to the Bears! He (Trump) is we thought he was! We had him, and we let him off the hook (didn't vote him out)!🤣
And the rest go to the farms.
I think it would serve us better to put all of these MAGA law breakers into deprogramming 'therapy'.
I cannot stand that smug look. 🤮
Civil commitment, otherwise known in certain circles as the 25th Amendment. Very selfless of Trump to lend his signature to it.
Mental illness as a criminal offense.
📌
Are there no prisons; are there no workhouses
Is he going to start calling alligator Alcatraz a hospital now?
I wonder what those hospitals will look like. Will they have beds, unlike the camps? Access to regular bathing and eating, unlike the camps? Will this be enforced in blue states?
And who do you think is paying for this...? GOP = Guardians of Pedos #GOPguardiansofpedos
this is some really low shit to get paid by the body
If you detain them, you can make millions. It's ALWAYS about the grift.
So do I have this right? Cut medical funding across the board, but hospitalize homeless people who need shelter, taking up beds for folks in medical crises, instead of creating more affordable housing so less people are homeless. I'm confused...
In what hospitals? The hospitals recently forced to close in rural communities?
they won't be "hospitals" - they'll be warehouses for forced labor. Most likely drugged to make them easier to control. We're reaching the end of the poem... WTF GOP
Congress get off your as*es and do your damned job You need to make a choice: Betray Trump Betray our Country Choose wisely, we will remember!
Who pays for this?
Guess ...
If you disagree with or oppose the regime in any way, you must be mentally impaired and will be sent to a "facility" until you recover. Straight out of Russia.
Exactly. There’s no funding for this, no staffing for this, no hospitals for this. So, you’re right: if you can’t pay rent on $7.25/hr., you’re a criminal who will be caged without a sentence.
Rounding up indigent, LGBTQ, and those with mental health issues are how the Nazis started. Once the camps are established, the list of those who need to go there will only expand.
This is the plan. 👆
"Sorry, the hospitals are full, so we are building a new hospital in Guantanamo Bay."
Very scary!! Trump's administrative policy includes "hospitalizing" sexually dangerous people. The US closed most of its mental institutions in the late 1950's - 60's because there was such horrible abuse of residents. Once psychiatric drugs became available imprisonment was made illegal.
What hospitals have enough rooms to house the homeless? They can't even accept all the community people. Who is going to pay the cost of hospitalizing homeless people, which can cost thousands of dollars a day? Trump and republicans just slashed Medicaid, Medicare, and ACA funding.
Fuck that fat prick.
Why isn't this getting more attention?
Because drunks and junkies. That's all they see.
This is insane!!
Aktion 4 Trump Style
another illegal maneuver
Don't even know where to begin here. It's true the deinstitutionalization movement of the 60s & 70s created much of today's homelessness problem, but that's bc the policy wasn't ever fully implemented. The institutions were supposed to be replaced with community-based services, but the promise
was never fulfilled. Hospitals are expensive. You want to get the homeless off the streets? Then fund mental health care, addiction services, domestic abuse protection, and veteran's benefits. Or, hey, just house them. Pretty sure that would be way cheaper than hospitalization.
Reagan didn’t help by closing down “asylums” and turning those getting help out on the street. The asinine “war on drugs” has contributed by not allowing sensible help with addiction.
Exactly. And the fact that so many of the homeless are vets is a national disgrace.
Housing them like we do here in old renovated hotels works well. If you solve the homeless problem for people they will start to heal. Being homeless is traumatic. and also, it usually comes with the trauma that caused it. They also don't have hospitals or nurses for this.
I read recently on Substack that the DOJ had asked a state (can’t recall which) why they had not purged their voter rolls of people who were “mentally incompetent.” This is Stephen Miller 100%. However, my question is, can we use this to lock them up?
Right out of Nazi Germany's playbook. Guess what's next? en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Life_un...
Let the next round of lawsuits begin!
The Third Reich didn't just slaughter millions of Jews 100,000s of German Citizens deemed 'expendable' were mass murdered, including physically and mentally ill children and adults, inclusive of 'vagrants'/homeless people.
So force hospitals to take in people who likely have no insurance and cut Medicaid. Crackhead logic.
When he says hospitals he really means prison camps.
Forced hospitalization also equals forced indenturement since those same homeless will not have the means to pay for "treatment"
And probably get the same “treatment/abuse” that ice is giving people.
Oh my god! When will you rise up, America? When he comes for you?
Who foots the bill?
Who else?
Stop closing Hospitals!
Add yourself to that order to go to mental house
Since when did hospitals have razor wire and landmines around them?
That's interesting because the money grabbing CEOs running the hospitals won't even put somebody about to lose their leg in a hospital bed.
State & local authorities do not have to comply with this. It’s a violation of an individual’s civil rights and it’s simply inhumane. This is the path to a eugenics-centered fascist system. “No person…shall be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law” — 5th Amendment
Look up Atkion T4: Nazis started this exact type of thing in 1938. And we all know where that ended…
He didn't do this to help the homeless! He did it because he doesn't like looking at them. That's no solution to the problem. The thing is if they have a drug problem committing them does nothing unless they WANT the help themselves!
