If we're going to be completely accurate, almost 37% of eligible voters failed to vote. It's dismal but that's the United States for you.

Republicans waged a quiet war on democracy for decades, making it harder for some people to vote. I wish more people had voted, but I hesitate to blame the victims. I’m saving my anger for Republicans.
