Ermmm he sent $billions worth of weapons to Israel and openly supported Netanyahu, refused to accept the ruling of the ICC against him.

He did not openly support Netanyahu. He openly supported Israel and tried to persuade Netanyahu to stop what they were doing. He was trying to make the end of the war better for Palestinians. Trumps deals w/Bibi was a problem. It was/is more complicated for a head of state than you imagine.
Why openly support a Govt and country intent on genocide with weapons to achieve it?
Besides, Hamas made it clear they wanted Israel eliminated and they gave zero aid to Palestinians, instead stole aid sent to Gaza. Hamas wanted to goad Israel to that destruction. They wanted to stoke outrage. No tunnels or shelters for the citizens. Why not?
Its pretty clear who wants to eliminate who!!
I also didn’t see Biden openly supporting the government. Israelis are not all supportive of Netanyahu. Maybe they played some role in Biden’s decisions.
Then why did he allow Netanyahu to freely visit the US, speak in Congress and reject the ICC's judgement that he committed war crimes and should be arrested?
Again, I don’t know. I’ve always had issues with our rejection of the ICC but it’s something every president has done.
Its the blind support for Israel - no doubt originally for strategic reasons - but my God, there surely have to be limits. Colonialism seems to be the driver.
I agree, there should be more limits on our support for Israel. There’s zero chance for that now that Trump is in the White House. What gets me is how Palestinian supporters couldn’t figure that out. Focusing on the most immediate deaths in Gaza blinded them to the bigger picture.
I don’t see colonialism as a driver. I don’t see much colonialism at all anymore. Colonialism had a lot to do with establishing Israel in the first place. But now? History, fear, revenge, tribal loyalties, and a centuries old heaping of treating people badly on all sides drives things now.
US resistance to “submitting” to the ICC and international law doesn’t have anything to do with Israel or the ICC ruling against Netanyahu. It’s been the American position from the start. Although there is some kind of blind support for Israel in America.
Not accepting ICC rulings allows genocide.
I don’t know. What I do know is that I never knew a fraction of the things that Biden knew about the situation, and while the Palestinian people didn’t deserve what happened to them, Hamas did. There were/are more players in that particular international thicket than Israel and the US and Hamas.
If you invade a country and, over decades massacre and oppress its people again and again, you can expect resistance. The resistance did not have army and an airforce.
That’s certainly one way of looking at it.
Its documented in history up to today. Its just horrific.
Is he the only one? No. Shut up.
She’s another beta idiot.
